You may be wondering why on earth this coin would be considered an error.  Well, if you look closely at the front of the coin, it is missing the copyright information seen on all production coins.  Since this coin was a part of a prototype coin find, I can only assume this could be along the same lines as say, a Sail Skiff coin without the Star Wars type on the coin...

Or it could just be a fluke...you decide.
